Axolotl

Axolotls live in Mexico. They are endangered. People ate axolotls. 

They got their name from Xolotl. The Aztec god of fire and lightning. People think that he turned into an axolotl because he could avoid being sacrificed. 

They eat fish, insects, and whatever they can get their jaws on. They get water by absorbing it through their skin and gills. 

If you want an axolotls, you need the tank to be under room temperature. They need sand and rocks in their tank with a shelter.
