Get Back in the Saddle

One day, I was riding my pony, Fiona. She got spooked by our pigs running around the pasture. She ran faster and faster. I had to emergency dismount her. When you emergency dismount, you have to jump off of a moving horse (or pony). Luckily, I landed on my feet, but it was still scary. Fiona stopped when she realized I had jumped off. For a moment, I was scared to get back on but, I did it anyway. I got back in the saddle and rode her again.

My trainer was there to help me get through it. She put Fiona on a lead rope and we walked and talked together. We talked about different things and it took my mind off of the scary situation. That's why I think she's the best trainer in the world, because she takes the time to help me and really focuses on the animal.
