Red Foxes

Red foxes eat rodents, berries and grasshoppers. Humans can’t feed them. Red foxes live in dens. If they can’t hunt, they can’t survive. The baby red fox is called a pup. The mama red fox feeds the baby pups. They live in the wild. Animal biologists say to leave red foxes alone. Red foxes live near forests or fields so they can hunt. They get their water from their prey and from water like a puddle or stream. A group of foxes is called a skulk. Foxes live in small family groups. Baby red foxes are really cute.
